• Recognizing Symptoms of Stress – Identifying physical, emotional, cognitive and behavioural changes in co-workers, customers, superiors and self.
• Rational to Responses and Reactions – Exploring your own ways of dealing with pressures as well as stress provoking professional situations.
• Learning to manage anger without extinguishing it.
• Relaxation and breathing techniques to relax body, mind and soul- Techniques to change distress into eustress and for future self-monitoring.

About the Facilitator:
Dr. Kavitha Palaniappan holds a doctorate degree in Allied Health Sciences with specialization in Environmental Health Engineering. She has been with the University of Newcastle in Singapore since January 2010. She has more than 12 years of research experience and her fields of research include environmental exposure assessments, psychosocial illnesses, sleep disorders and sleep enhancement using alternative therapies and nanotoxicology. She has given several talks pertaining to work-related stress, their impacts on productivity, their management through transformational leadership and work organization at several international conferences. She has also conducted a hands-on workshop on Deep Relaxation Technique (DRT) at the Annual Summit on Sleep Disorders and Medicine, San Francisco, USA in 2015.
